This is a great show with amazing artwork and it is beautifully curated. If you get a chance, get over to Huntington Arts Main Street Gallery in Huntington NY for a visit. Show is up until May 26th. There will also be an Art Walk on May 20th that will give you access to galleries and museums in Huntington, NY.

Sounds like a great day!

I am so excited to be a part of this exhibit because I have loved album cover art since I can remember. My mom was a huge fan of American popular music and Sundays were reserved for listening to LP’s that ranged from her beloved Carlos Gardel to show tunes and jazz. She provided me with an education in a variety of musical genres and nurtured my curiosity. I am forever grateful to her for our “Sunday music.”

The Huntington Arts Council is proud to present 12 x 12 – A juried exhibition, Art work inspired by the LP Record Jacket, Beth Giacummo, Juror. Opening Reception Friday, May 4th, 2018, 6 – 8 pm. The exhibit runs from the opening through May 26, 2018 at the Main Street Gallery, 213 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743. Free event, all are welcome to attend.
