Center for Educational Innovation Benchmarks Mural Program, SOS Social Justice Program New York, NY — Lead Teaching Artist, Program Coordinator
JANUARY 2019 – JULY 2021
●         Collaborated with classroom teachers to facilitate a comprehensive arts program for New York City public school students that inspires them to confront social justice issues by creating large-scale art installations.
●         Worked directly with students in a six-month residency to develop art skills, concepts and techniques that align with their social studies curriculum to foster peer leadership, team building, and self-confidence.
●         In the SOS Program, worked directly with students remotely to develop art skills, concepts and techniques that align with SEL and social justice themes.
●         Program Coordinator for Arts and Communities Recovery Grant. Hiring and onboarding of 30 teaching artists, scheduling TA’s and purchased supplies for 15 DOE Summer Rising Schools mural program. Organized curriculum for mural program.
Center for Educational Innovation, New York, NY – Visual Arts Education Specialist
August 2019 – JUNE 2020
·         Designed and implemented Math and Literacy curriculum for the ETA Program, a 2 million dollar, four year federal arts grant serving District 75 Public Schools in NYC and the five boroughs.
·         Designed and implemented Professional Development workshops for 24 classroom teachers teaching math and literacy through visual arts.
·         Responsible for training, observing and mentoring four visual arts teaching artists implementing the ETA program.
·         Worked with District 75 math and literacy coaches to provide appropriate and enriching instructional support for students with significant challenges in grades 3, 4 and 5.
·         Collaborated with ETA grant Music Educational Specialist to integrate lessons and resources for all levels of instructional support.
·         Grant coordinator for year two responsibilities included liaison with school administrators, press, and coordinators. Scheduling teaching artists and maintaining budget.
Westbury Arts, New York, NY — Summer Arts Camp Director
●         Organizes and implements a six-week multi-disciplinary arts-based summer program for over 50 children age six to 12 years old.
●         Fosters a culture that is student-directed, diverse, and inclusive.
●         Hires teaching artists and curates visiting artist workshops including international arts organizations and museums.
●         Develops budget, maintains payroll schedule, and orders supplies.
●         Directs staff of ten on site.
●         Collaborates with teaching artist and Recreation Center staff to organize end of camp exhibit/installation.
●         Supports promotion and marketing by designing collateral and maintaining parent communication via weekly newsletter.
●         Works directly with the Village of Westbury Government and Westbury Arts

●         Oversaw day-to-day operations of second highest grossing franchise site in the United States with enrollment totaling over 800 families; Exceeded enrollment goals by 20%
●         Consistently ranked in the top three performing franchise sites in the country.
●         Established best practices, training and ongoing maintenance of operational database for all customer service representatives and management.
●         Trained and managed 16 employees.
●         Recruited, hired and developed talent. Led site specific and franchise-wide training meetings, while providing ongoing professional development opportunities.
