Is that phrase still relevant? It’s been so long since I’ve posted anything!

That’s what happens when you move out of the house you lived in for 31 years. Moving must be one of the most stressful things you can do in a lifetime. I am amazed at people who can do it without falling apart.

We are super happy in our new house and I have finally been able to set up an actual studio. Sure, it gets kind of cold, leaks a bit when the rain slants in just the right direction and the dog thinks I am his personal doorman every time I am working BUT it is all my own and just steps away from the first floor bathroom. Also an amazing perk!

I have actually been doing a lot of work and so here are some of my finished and in progress pieces. As if I don’t have enough embroidery floss to use up, I have also become obssessed with felting. There will be blood when you first start out and there has been plenty but I think I’m getting the hang of it.
